Privacy Policy

Review before launch: This is a working draft and should be checked against the final hosting, analytics, payment, authentication, licensing, email, and support systems.

1. Information collected

NEXUS may process account information, email addresses, purchase and license records, support messages, application version information, and privacy-reduced device identifiers needed for activation and validation.

2. Payments

Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted Checkout. The NEXUS WordPress website does not directly collect or store full card numbers. Stripe may provide payment status, customer email, purchased product, transaction identifiers, and related fraud or dispute information.

3. Licensing

License generation and authoritative validation occur through the configured backend. Public WordPress files do not contain Stripe secrets, signing private keys, license-generation secrets, or private database credentials.

4. Application data

The desktop application may store encrypted local license material and settings required to provide the service. Device binding should use a privacy-conscious hash rather than transmitting raw hardware serial numbers, usernames, or MAC addresses.

5. Uses

Information may be used to provide accounts, deliver and validate licenses, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and enforce the Terms of Service.

6. Sharing

Information may be shared with service providers needed for hosting, payment processing, email delivery, security, analytics, and support, or when required by law. NEXUS does not sell personal information.

7. Retention and security

Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, and support. Reasonable technical and organizational protections are used, but no system is completely secure.
